Running a business isn’t easy. Running a business that’s hurting during ‘tough times’ isn’t easy and can be downright painful. I know. I’ve experienced it… a lot. I’ve wanted to quit, but there’s been something that has kept me hanging on…and my heart has held on to that certainty there was a bigger purpose here, [...]

Thanksgiving prayer
A Prayer
O Creator, Source of all life
Shine your light in my heart.
And through my hands
Manifest your love.
Calm my doubts and
Unlock any gates on the path
You have set me.
Let my eyes see the beauty
My ears hear the harmony
My skin feel the texture
My tongue taste the bounty
And my nose smell the sweetness
of your earthly garden,

Winning despite…
Hallelujah!
Had a great day today! WHOO HOOOOO! I delivered a presentation to a new group of people…not people who would typically be “my people.” Oh, the mistakes I made!! Some really big blunders like misreading the audience and the energy level I “should” have delivered from. But the point was I stepped out of [...]
Stirred after fluffing
It’s so great to be in a place where you know you’re being stirred up and that you’ve asked for it, even if not exactly in the way it’s showing up. So, I’ve been practicing the art of heart fluffing. Feels great at the time. Really great. And then in the [...]

Feeling like part of my brain is missing today.
Makes me nuts when I can’t figure things out (quickly).

Sometimes, like when I’m having a pity party, I forget that I’m not a “victim” of life’s circumstances. I forget that there are a lot of perspectives from which I could be viewing my life. Some of them may not be so pleasant, but a whole heck of a lot of them could show my life [...]

Recently I received a thank you note from Barack and Michelle Obama. You may have received one, as well. I’m sure many people did. Part of the note read,
“…This is our time…to reclaim the American Dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth…that out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope, and where [...]
It’s about hope
I received this link in an email from a friend. It made me teary (not a huge surprise) because, no matter what the outcome of our election today, I want for us to have hope. To change our focus from fear and worry to HOPE, to possibility, to gratitude that we live in this country.

Not ready to go "gently in to that good night?" Me neither! We have too much to offer the world to go into hiding! And every day offers new opportunities to come out of hiding and shine our lights.
